Located on the parade route this 1807 home was recently restored to maintain it's historic charm but with the luxury features of an updated kitchen and 3 beautifully appointed full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. The master bedroom has an extended queen bed, sitting areas, and an ensuite bath with soaking tub and shower. One of the second floor bedrooms has a queen bed while the other second floor bedroom has a queen bed as well as a twin bed. The first floor bedroom also has a queen bed. The dining room has seating for 8 along with a quaint sitting area. The kitchen is equipped with a 5 burner gas range, double oven, farm sink, and high end refrigerator. You and your guests can relax in one of three common rooms - family room, library, or second floor sitting room. The home is wifi connected with cable and 6 tv's. Enjoy the backyard shade of a 150 year old Copper Beech tree, brick patio with gas grill and vintage wrought iron furniture. Relax under the historic tree or enjoy a barbecue with family and friends. The home is located on the parade route in historic Bristol RI and a gentle walk to town or bike/walking path which extends from Bristol to Providence along scenic Narragansett Bay. Don't want to drive? The home is located on a bus route which can effortlessly take you to Newport or Providence. More adventurous? A half hour drive to Bedford Ma. allows you to hop a ferry to Martha Vineyard or Nantucket. Wedding planners will find this an ideal location to celebrate your wedding with family and friends. In Newport, you can tour cottages along the Atlantic Ocean on the famed Cliff Walk or stroll down Thames St and enjoy boutique shops, restaurants, or just relax ocean side. Bristol, home of Linden Place built by James DeWolf and once the residence of Ethel Barrymore is the centerpiece of the town. Stroll the streets surrounding Linden Place and enjoy homes in the historic district. Most of the towns homes date back 150 to 200 years, and transport you to another era. The town has a bounty of high end family restaurants. Looking to kick back and relax? Colt State Park which is less than a mile from the house, is a 464 acre bay front park where you can barbecue, picnic, or just recline in your favorite beach chair. In the evening, walk into town buy for an ice cream but make sure you bring your camera. All of the waterfront locations host some of the most spectacular sunsets on the East Coast. Love shopping? From boutique shops to consignment and antique stores, or full scale mall in Providence, you can shop til you drop.
